The menu system DOES have an F12.. Sounds like you are using Personal
Menus (YUCK).

Subject: Tortuous interface in Mapics DB...

As I am still relatively new on this Mapics thingy (and my shop is
running DB mod 4, with plans to migrate to XA), I have a nagging
question that I always have in the back of my mind when navigating
through Mapics:

Does the use of F24 to exit apps go away anywhere? I know Mapics goes
*way* back, but wasn't F7 the standard exit key on the S/34/36/others?
Does the menu system *ever* get upgraded so that users can F12 back to a
previous menu, as opposed to the current asinine torture of keying an
option number, which is never the same from menu to menu?

OK, that was two questions. Truth be told, I've many more, but I had to
vent on those two.

tia,
db
