The architecture for the old MAPICS II is the System/36 is completely
different than MAPICS XA on the AS/400s & Iseries and whatever is used for
XA will not work.  Keep in mind that MAPICS II used a LOT of direct files
(all of the data entry batch files were) which were pointer driven.  MAPICS
DB on the AS/400 and System/38 was even completely different than the
System/36.
