ABAWXFR is the one that updates the 'created by', and yes is with the user
that execute the offline.
I suggest two options:

1. Update the "Fedex" value in a user field
2. Use the user exit UMBSHP6R (executed at shipment processing) to override
the user id with the value "Fedex".

Subject: Defaulting the Created By User in Offline shipping files

We generate shipments with COM offline shipping. I'm trying to populate
the Created By User fields in the offline files OSAAREP and OSABCPP.

These fields are as follows:

MXAFVN in OSAAREP

MYAFVN in OSABCPP

If the shipment is a FedEx shipment these values will be 'FEDEX'. The
problem I'm having is when the shipments get created the created by user
fields in MBDHREP and MBDDREP are equal to the user profile of whoever
runs the offline shipping process. I'm trying to figure out why this is
happening. I assume it's happening during the creation of the shipments
when the program ABAWXFR is called. I think that program uses the system
user profile instead of what is in OSAAREP and OSABCPP. Either that or
the value FEDEX isn't a valid user profile and the system user profile
is being used instead.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
