Lloyd,

Not getting any output from a new link suggests that something is not quite
right in the linked keys. You will need to verify that the fields specified
on the link contain the same data formatted in the same way. Does WcFields
have additional keys on the file that are not in Mapics and therefore
preventing you from finding a matching record?

The best way to verify a link problem is to create a simple listing that has
shows the main file information, the key fields used to link the file, and
the fields in the new link. This may be a very long report, but you can use
it to determine if the proper records are being retrieved from the new link.

Regards,
-Greg

Subject: Return Rate Report...

We are users of MAPICS Release 6, interfacing with WcFields for RMA
processing. I am trying come up with an IWP report that would give me the
return rate for a range of Item Numbers over an entered Date range at run
time. When I create the IWP subset linking the COM Shipping Info to the
WcFields Data, I never get any output.

This seems like such a natural report request that I'm sure that someone
else out there has done this, and that I'm just not seeing the "Forest
through The Trees". Any and all responses would be greatly appreciated.
