Steve,

I have attended all but one MAPICS conference, and I deeply regretted
missing that one.  I always get a lot of great ideas from sessions at the
conference, and learn a lot by talking to business partners/vendors at the
tech expo.  Plus, a lot of networking/discussions occur during meals and
free time.  Well worth the money.

Just curious as to how many people will be attending the Mapics conference
this year?  What other conferences do you regularly attend?  Which do you
feel is the best?, why?

We have not sent anyone to a Mapics conference in probably 7 years or so.
We try to attend one of the Common conferences each year.  Common is good
to get ideas on where the I-Series is going.  It is not specific to Mapics,
but can get some good ideas on now to solve some business issues.

Two of us went to RPGWorld last year.  I highly recommend that conference
to anyone who programs.  Very intense sessions & since the conference is
limited to about 150 people, talking to the speakers is very easy to do
(not that Common is difficult, just so many more people).
