If you are hesitant to modify Mapics (or don't have the skills), you may
wish to look at JacanaForms, an electronic forms solution.  With
JacanaForms, you can rearrange the data in the forms to place the customer
item first.  We use the printer output (spool file) and map the field
locations, you can then place the fields anywhere on the form.  Requires no
changes to Mapics or any custom programming.

Has anyone out there modified the invoice and or packing list to show the
customers' item number FIRST on these documents?  We have a (big) customer
asking for this to be done.  Is this a huge hassle?  Does mapics allow for
this and I am missing it?
