I don't know about the current releases but at XAR4 you will need twice the
available space that you think you need. The copy environment procedure
first copies the designated environment to a temporary library then
establishes the new environment. The last step is deleting the temporary
library. So at one point in the process you have the equivalent of 3
environments on your computer. If you are trying to squeeze the test
environment into limited space you may cause a big problem.

Subject: Re: Creating Test Environment

Shawn, Not sure you are aware. In CAS (Cross App's) on the reports menu.
Option 2 is file status. It is a Mapics file catalog (Old sys36 days). It
will tell you what files have a lot of deleted records as well as what files
are large.
Also QGPL, look for savf. Especially if you download mapics and IBM PTF's.
Also do a wrkflr in folder AFDWEB, probably tons of mapics downloads.
the RCLSPLSTG, will remove all old printed spool files. If you have not done
this. You will be surprised how big this can be.
The print disk info is also a good way to see what libraries are getting
big.

Good Luck

assistance on cleaning up some files and gaining space. I'm currently
looking at PO History and IM History. Any suggestions. Thanks,
