Al,
It functions like that even in Release 6 of Mapics(green screen)...

Environment: Mapics DB (Mod4) with IM and PDM

Hi group:

I notice a difference on the way our input screens behave
after inputting a File Maintance change to either the Item
Master or Item Balance files.

With the Item Master Input Screen (AMVT01), after the
inputting is done, it retains the Item Number on its input
line so that it's easy to edit this Item Number for the
next Item Number to be inputted.

With the Item Balance Input Screen (AMI7A1), after the
inputting is done, it does not retain the Item Number on
its input line. Therefore you have to input the FULL item
number of the next Item Number. (I've been using Cut and
Paste to overcome this and it helps speed up the inputting
process.)

Is there a reason (perhaps a Tailoring Question is not
answered correctly?) the two Input screens behave
differently regarding the retention of the last Item
Number inputted?

I look forward to your comments on this minor problem.

Regards,
Al Gershen
