Replacement Credit Check

We are looking at merging credit checking between two environments. For
example  total open orders + total due < merged credit limit or other
criteria (overdue in either environment) would stop and order in either
environment from picking. 

Anyone attempt this yet? The source is really messy especially since the
open orders amount appears to be calculated on the fly and not passed to
the API that MAPICS provides. You would think this would be pretty
simple but...
