RE: COM Inventory Transaction Register

Our Shipping department and Tool Crib prints theirs and files them.  Our
regular one (the one that generates right before backups, usually between
1500 and 2000 pages) goes to a special output queue not attached to a
printer for reference.  It gets periodically purged by a utility that wipes
out everything in the queue older than x number of days.

The only report I see any benefit from in that process is the AMI3E
Transaction Error Report.

The info in file INTRWU has no use to us.   I have a job on the job
scheduler that does a CLRPFM of that file each night.

Inventory is updated immediately.. This is just the transaction register,
and customer should definitely run this every few months, because this
file get very very very large.

To the list,
Most of my customers forget to run the COM Inventory Transaction Register.

 After a while, this file gets quite large.  Does anyone have an automated

function for running this? Does anyone actually use it and is IM History
updated at this point or during the Shipment Process?
