I agree with the need for source code.

We have changed those places where validation tables exist but
Mapics looks to see if the input field is not blank before it checks the
table.
COM is one place where this happens. If blank is a valid option,
why not make a table entry?

And just completed the validation of account number in PO Entry  -
another MAPICS "if not blank then check GL master and then only give
warning".

I have gathered many helpful tips from this list but would also probably
use
Konrad's suggested list/website for shaing experience/code/enhancements.
