I think you a great idea and it could be a terrific service to the MAPICS
community.

As MAPICS makes the migration to a new look from the "green screen" only
world, many companies don't have the staff to learn by trial and error.  The
experience of others would be very valuable.  The usefulness of this mailing
list is a good example of the value of sharing.

I would be interested in publishing a MAPICS newsleter along the following
lines:

  a.. The newsletter would be MAPICS-independent.
  b.. It would distributed electronically each month.
  c.. Its contents would consist of MAPICS news from MAPICS and other
sources, a tips and techniques column, independently written articles about
MAPICS applications and ways to use MAPICS to meet business needs,
advertising, and help wanted adds.
  d.. MAPICS customers, affiliates, and consultants would be encouraged to
contribute articles.
  e.. The newsletter would be priced at $300 per year ($25 per issue).
I would appreciate feedback on this idea either through the forum or
directly. I am especially interested in knowing if you are likely to
subscribe, willing to contribute articles, or interested in advertising.
