Shareen,
No, a 'blank' CTC, will not preclude costing the item, but will ignore
rtn info, if mfg. If matl content, old pur content , b-record is populated
, and the item type is 3,4 it will roll fwd to any parent, per BOM. If
rolling individual, you will need to roll the component first of course. My
current understanding is type - 9's donot roll fwd, but you'll want to test
this, if applicable.

Hi All,
I am having a Issue with this Item 121A938KW-P1 , where The material total
is significantly higher than the sum of the individual parts...
When we added the Item cost of each of the components they do NOT equal
0.57183570. They equal <0.54. If all the items with a cost only add up to
~0.54, how could the purchase cost be showing >0.5718?
For your Information I am giving following Item Details..
The Item 121A938KW-P1 having following 7 Component Items ie
AAAAA0000255527
AAAAA0000255739
AAAAA0000255529
AAAAA0000255530
AAAAA0000255531
24A100641-P5
A23C4C2-100W
Out of 7 items, two are Purchase Items ie 24A100641-P5 & A23C4C2-100W, For
these 2 Items Cost Technique Code is Blank where these 2 items will not be
Costed...am i right?
Please let me know where could be the Problem?
