I agree; that is a nice presentation. Thanks for the heads-up Dale.

We put something similar to this in place some time ago. We have a little
data entry module where the shipped quantities are captured. Actually, there
is little keying to actually do. The user scans the CO number from the
acknowledgement and if the order ships complete they simply press F10 and
the order is done.

If any of the items short ship, they are all shown on the screen with the
default "shipped quantities" equal to the "open quantity". The user simply
keys in the shipped qty on those line items that short shipped.

This quantity shipped data is merged with the FedEx shipping charges export
file and the OFFSHP files are populated. Quick, simple, inexpensive, and
reliable.

Folks,

If you haven't looked at this presentation, you need too. Dale's points gave
me very valuable insight that made my offline shipping process possible. The
presentation will let you see how OFFSHIP can work for you, cheaply and
quickly. I am on XA 5, and this toolkit has saved my shipping staff about 2
hours a day of keying.

Hello all,

I received a couple questions on how to view ScreenCams in my PowerPoint. If
you have Lotus SmartSuite, they should automatically run. If not, you can
get a free viewer at
http://www.mdres.com/AtlasCatalog/AtlasLV/Video/screencam.htm
which should handle it. Note: I haven't tested the free viewer, but it is
listed on the web. I have NO idea why Lotus doesn't offer one on their
site.

Sorry about that - sometimes I assume too much.....
