TREAD act

This is a question for all MAPICS users that produce a product controlled
by NHTSA:

Are you all aware of the new TREAD reporting act?  We have to have
recording systems in place by 4/1/03.  Sounds like a good add-on to
COM/CSM, to me.  I am curious as to if anyone is working on this, or if
you know of an available application to handle this that is integrated to
MAPICS.  There are some SERIOUS fines for non-compliance, ranging from
$5,000-to-$15,000,000/day.  If there isn't something out there already, or
if MAPICS isn't doing anything regarding it, I'll have to do something
with Integrator - not that big a deal, except for the government-mandated
reporting in multi-sheet Excel format....
