Rebecca, I am assuming that you are asking about the AP and GL functions in
IFM -- not the Accounting Management AP and GL applications. If this is so,
I do not believe that there is any practical way to create an IFM-AR Only
environment. This is because IFM automatically updates its general ledger
data when it processes AR-related transactions. If you created an
environment that did not have general ledger files, IFM would be unable to
process your AR-related transactions.

Depending on what your accountants are trying to accomplish, there are
usually ways to work around this situation without resorting to separate
environments. For example, if you want to "freeze" IFM data for reporting
purposes, you can develop queries / reports that select based on Period ID
or Period Display Sequence. Also, there are codes in the IFM Transaction
Header that let you limit selection to transactions for AR personal ledgers.
If you go down this path, be sure to use Allocation line records to link the
invoices to payments.
