Thanks alot. I must either have old sample code or must have at one point
deleted out that part of the code. I have been scratching my head on this
one for some time.

Thanks again

An example is in subroutines E#0001-E#0003. The message ID, file, data,
etc. is loaded in parms W1MSID, W#MSFN respectively. These are then used in
subroutine XXEMP1 to call PSXEMP1R - The Mapics Edit Message Processor.

I have been using the sample USRMTIOR. I guess my question is where in that
code do I add my code to send my message back to the user's screen in the
Browser? Do I update some positions in the communications data area with my
message ID or message text?

Thanks for any help

I know how it's supposed to work but actually haven't gotten it to work
myself (just hasn't had a high enough priority to have my undivided
attention).
You should be able to find program USTMTI0R.TXT in the directory:
C:\Program Files\MXACSR6\Integrator Samples
This is a sample program for the trigger. The problem I got stuck on is
getting the communications data area from the caller. Of course if I
remember correctly I caused the problem by converting the code to RPG IV
first. I suspect if I had left it alone it would work correctly.

I would like to know if you get it working. It might encourage me to finish
the task.

I apologize. I am referring to custom objects in the Integrator?

Are you referring to "green" programs or a custom object in integrator?

Does anyone know how to send a message back to the screen on a custom object
when the user's input in invalid? Where in the trigger program am I to
specifiy the message or message id of the message I want the user to see?

Thanks for any help
