Bryan,

What it does is save each library to a save file in QTEMP, without
compression, so effectively it is making a copy of AMFLIBx. I would do some
purging, 70% of 120 = 84, add 27 and you're at 111 - uncomfortably close for
me (I'm a pessimist whenever Murphy's Law might apply - grin).

Subject: Disk space required for an environment update

When an update environment is submitted, does MAPICS copy one of the
environments first?

When I did an update in June, it was successful but there was a CPF0907
message during the update that said "SERIOUS STORAGE CONDITION MAY EXIST.
THE AMOUNT OF AUXILIARY STORAGE IN THE AUXILIARY STORAGE POOL HAS REACHED
THE THRESHOLD VALUE. STORAGE CAPACITY IS (120GB) STORAGE USED IS (108 GB).
The best I remember is that we were at 60 or 70% of 120 GB in the ASP before
I submitted the update.

Some time soon, I need to do another update of our test environment (TS)
from our production environment (TE), both of which are 27gb. We are at 70%
of 120gb of ASP right now. Do I need to do some purging first?
