Jeff,

Likewise, we use a manual system, but not having the
item there until it is ready to go presents the
problem of how do you get purchasing not to re-order
the old item in the face of continuing requirements?
It really seems like an iterative process that can
only be handled effectively in software. Does procurement
add any revision based functionality to help in this
area?
