Does Mapics ever re-number the line item sequence field CDFCNB when items
are deleted?
In my little test it didn't happen.
Thanks again, Bonnie

Bonnie,
Create a little "extension file" with the same keys as the MBCDREP
file.
Then you can build a logical view by matching up the records for your
programs/mods.
Create the extension and the logical in your AMFLIBx and it will get backed
up.

We need to store the customer's item revision level in the COM line item
detail (MBCDREP).
No user-defined field is large enough.

Does anyone know what the APC fields at the end of the file are used for?
Not referenced on documentation CD so I am assuming these were appended
for some 3rd party app.

CDAFYT APC Configuration ID
CDAFYV APC Global ID
CDAFYX APC Item Code
CDAFYW APC Short Description

Thanks,
Bonnie Lokenvitz
