Mapics Error Messages relating to Master File Conflicts

Environment: Mapics DB/Y2K (Mod 4), with IM, PDM, PC&C

Hi Mapics ML

Occasionally a Mapics Job will be run and an Error Message
will arise that says that a Mapics Master File is being
used somewhere and the job can't run.  When the work
station using that file has completed their task, the
Mapics Job can be run.

I'm wondering if a workstation that is only using an
Inquriy Screen, to look into a Mapics Master File, can
create such an Error Message?

For example, our stockroom personnel have several Inquiry
screens open all day long and in the past, I don't believe
that they created any Conflict Error Messages at other
work stations.

But lately, we've been getting more of these messages and
I may be drawing at straws while considering workstatons
that are using only an Inquiry screen.

What are your experiences with this problem?
