It depends on how you count them.

The total installed at all release levels is probably in the 5,000 to 6,000
range. The number of "active" customers - counting only those that are
paying MAPICS for annual maintenance and, presumably, upgrading from time
to time, is something closer to 2,500 to 3,000. Assuming an average of 5
modules installed per customer site, the module count would be closer to
20,000 rather than 10,000
