Eric,

We have a similar situation, and how we handled it to prevent a bunch of
file maintenance is that we wrote and run a blaster program every night
that checks all the ITEMBL files to see if an appropriate item isn't in
all the appropriate warehouses, and duplicates any missing records into
ITEMBL. Saves a LOT of time. Of course, on occasion, they have to
manually add a record if needed during the same day.

We have been looking into creating a seperate warehouse but that means
everytime they create a new item, they have to create additional Item
Balance
records. Are you using PDM+ to do that?
