Konrad,
You're right! "Love" is definitely too strong a word when used in the same
sentence as COM. They like it strongly?!!?;)

Ed,

You actually have some users that love COM? Can I get
their drug of choice?

Seriously, IBM in their recent announcements seem to be
recognizing that the green screen penalty is too high,
reducing the high end 270 machine needed to run alot of
green screen by $50,000. Since we are not interested in
the client apps that works out to be a plus for us.

Only two issues left then:
1) Migrating to concurrent licensing economically
2) The LARGE requirements of R7. IBM may be promoting
server consolidation on larger 400's but MAPICS is
        moving the other way.

Regards

Konrad
