RE: IPDS Printing

Tom,

You could try changing the printer file to *AFPDS and
print to a standard HP laser printer through host
printer transform. Be aware it does take some cpu
power to do that. We have modified quite a few of our
reports to take advantage of overlays and page segments
and have been happy with the results (aside from the
cpu usage). The tool used for the overlays is a
printer driver that IBM offers for free. Just print
the file through MS Word and transfer it to the AS/400,
do the overlay in the MAPICS printer overrides and you
are all set.
