Ted,

Please be aware that many payroll taxes like SUI, FUTA, FICA have top
limits. If ADP doesn't know the Gross to date of your employees, your
company and its employees may pay too much tax which is difficult to
resolve.

Ted,
Sounds like a plan.. Should be OK... I would save P/R files prior to
creating govrep either onto a tape or a save library..

Empmas, Empmsx, Empscl Empded, taxtbl, labdis, distrb. Empben. I believe
that is all. Only need the 1st 4 files. the rest are to be safe...

Subject: PR - W2, year end

> Hello. Our corporate parents dictate that we start using ADP right now.
At
> the end of December, they anticipate our employees will get a W2 from us
for
> January to now and a W2 from ADP for now till end of december. My
reaction
> is to perform year end for payroll now and use the GOVREP file from today
> for W2's next January. We will still use our PR for everything but
paying.
> Does anyone see a problem with my solution? Thanks.
