Carol,

Try this:       Menu AMZM38      Security Maint.
                take option 1    Area and Task authorizations
                1 = Select the application
                Find the main security area you need to work with
                put in a 2 to change and press enter
                You then get the individual tasks within this area
                Put an option 11 in front of the task to authorize users
                and then just go down the row of users and put in '16' to
authorize
                or '17' to revoke.

I hope this is what you mean you are trying to do.

I'm struggling with a massive security update and looking for suggestions to
make this process go smoother!

xa6 - printout the #5 report = Security - sorted by Area, Task, User for the
review. Once this list is marked up, can not find a similar screen to
authorize the users. Maintain option #1 looked promising, but still have to
go to each user, do the option 19 to scroll down to the task to maintain :-(
