I agree - the upgrade pricing when you are just upgrading to add
horsepower, with no additional users or applications is too much.
Especially if you move up to Browser, and need the additional horsepower -
you REALLY get whacked then.

We converted to user-based pricing when we implemented Browser.  It was a
pretty stiff one-time charge, but will definitely pay for itself over
time.  That was my last upgrade charge!

That is true...It is called stick it to them as much as you can!

I have at least three small clients that need to upgrade but cannot
because
the the MAPICS' upgrade prices as well as the increased ALF amounts!
