We have done some by saving the Excel/lotus spreadsheet as a .txt file.

Use client access to take into a hold file. Since this file will be one big
field, use CPYF w/the FMTOPT(*NOCHK) to copy into a correctly formatted
offline load file.

CAUTION: Make sure the spreadsheet agrees with the field format needed ;-)

Good luck,

Subject: uploading spreadsheets into MAPICS

Does anyone know of any software packages that you are using to upload
spreadsheets or comma delimited files into mapics offline load files? Or are
you just using client access?

I need some software that the end user can use to upload data? We are
increasingly getting more requests by users for them to have the capability
to upload spreadsheets of data into MAPICS.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
