Kevin,

The flag for a KBC item is set in the Item extension file in COM. When you
copied the families over, the extension file flag was not set. If you do
not want to DFU the file, edit the family name in KBC file maintenance and
then update the record. That will reset the flag in the extension file and
you should be fine. You do not have to change anything in the record. The
update process is what cleans everything up.

Hi,

After copying entire families and questions from one environment to another,
ran the Knowledge Base Load. Then did a KBC evaluation to make sure the
dialogue runs smoothly, etc.

Once things looked OK, next step was to enter a test order. Usually after
entering the end-item the dialogue begins. However it's not for the new
end-item we're testing out.

It seems we're missing a very small piece/switch of some sort.

Thanks in advance for any impute you may have!
