Let me jump in here and tell you that JacanaForms is a perfect solution
for writing checks.  It is the electronic forms package offered by
Mapics and comes with samples of the AP checks (both IFM and AM) and
Payroll checks that can be quickly modified with your company name and
logo.  JacanaForms uses standard Laser printers anywhere on your
network, it supports magnetic ink (MICR), and signatures.  Blank check
stock can be used, eliminating costly forms printing, and the
access/authority to produce checks is secured.

JacanaForms utilizes JetForm technology so you get an industry standard

Would anyone like to recommend a check writing software package that can
be used to print Mapics AP and Payroll checks on a laser printer with a
signature?  We are currently using a package but have been less than
satisfied with the support we receive.  Our annual maintenance/support
fee is due and we wanted to take the opportunity to explore our options.
