We are using the standard MAPICS product.  With Advanced Function Print
Utilities (AFP) from IBM you have the ability to create document overlays.
The signature can be one of the overlays.  We are using IFM, not the AP
module, but you could verify that it would work the same.  It might be
possible for your affliate to create the overlay for you.

Would anyone like to recommend a check writing software package that can be
used to print Mapics AP and Payroll checks on a laser printer with a
signature?  We are currently using a package but have been less than
satisfied with the support we receive.  Our annual maintenance/support fee
is due and we wanted to take the opportunity to explore our options.
