More order archive problems

When we converted from DB to XA the order history records all received the
same "create" date.   The "completion" date is blank.   The selection
criteria to archive by dates only has these 2 date ranges.     I have
200,000 orders with the same dates.

Thinking I was being clever, I used a simple program to change the oldest
4000 orders the have a different "create" date.  The file changed was
MBBWCPP.     When I tried to archive these orders I got the message that no
orders were selected.

I don't feel like digging into source code to figure out what I need to
change.

Does anyone out there know how to do this?
