Patrick,
Probably a little late for this...   Create a library (say MAPICSPTFS) and
keep it on your library list above AMALIBx, but below your modification
library.  You then apply MAPICS PTFS to this library.  You can then see if
any of the modules in MAPICSPTFS match those in your modification library.  
If they do, make the appropriate changes and recompile.  If not, take the
option to permanently apply tested changes from the cross-apps menu.  The
good news with this technique is that the worst that will happen is that the
new program will not run because your mod is above it on the library list.  
You will not get nasty-grams from users because your mod stopped working.
