We are using the Offline Shipping from MAPICS successfully.

We are calling ABAWXFR directly (not using a u-job) after our program that
writes the files has run.

The MAPICS download SH14019 documentation is what is available, as far as I
know. My approach was to write records to the files for a test order to ship,
run the edit, look to see what my errors were, fix the program and repeat the
process.

It didn't take all that many iterations to get it right.

Make sure you have the latest version available (I think early April) since
MAPICS does make enhancements and corrections on an ongoing basis.

Good luck.

I am looking at the MAPICS XAR6 Offline Automatic Shipping capabilities. I
would be interested in knowing if others have implemented this and with what
results, especially if you used the U-Job approach. Can you offer any
warnings or advice in general? If you used the U-Job, (or even if you
didn't), can anyone give this confused person some simple advice on how to
add this U-Job? Or at least point me to the right reference?

TIA,
Bob Randall
