Doug,

I just use a quick and dirty RPG program to read the entire ITEMBL file.
When you have a WH1 record change the house to WH8, zero or blank
appropriate fields like Quantity on hand and write the record.

Subject: Duplicating Item Balance records

We are in the process for creating a new warehouse. Does anyone have a good
way to add Item balance records for that warehouse? What I would like to do
is somehow copy the WH1 Item Balance records to WH8. Is SQL a good option?

TIA
