Hi Leleux@shur-lok.com & Mapics ML:

> "Exactly what system did you reboot..."

I spoke with our assistant Information Systems person (our department head is
off today) and he told me that the AS/400 reboots every morning at about 3:00
am. As Mapics DB is being run on that computer, you could also suggest that it
is also being rebooted daily.

> "...who said to do that?"

If you are asking about who advised us to reboot our AS/400 every morning, I
can't answer that question right now. I can only assume that this procedure
has been in place for quite a long period of time.

> "are you running NT"

No, Mapics DB is run on the AS/400 with the typical "green screens."

> "Why not run a query over POMAST..."

I did as you suggested and came up with a list of PO's with POPDT dated
11/9/00. I gave this list to our Purchasing Clerk so that she could follow up
on the printing of all the PO's that didn't print correctly yesterday.

By the way, the field, MDATE, came up blank for all the POs on the list. I
wonder if this has any significance?

I look forward to hearing from you and others on this matter.

Regards....
