We are in the process of evaluating a private WAN to connect a couple of
branch offices to our AS400 running Mapics XA4. I have setup several IP
printers in the past (all HP) for other companies. The problem I have
frequently run into is that for IP printing versus twinax somehow
changes the CPI setting (at least on HP's). Now I have tried using work
station customization object with mixed results.

Has anyone successfully used IP printing to print acknowledgments and AP
checks? What type of hardware have you done this with? Did it require
any special programming considerations for the IP printer definition?

Thanks to anyone who can help me.
