We implemented COM in 1998 and after the initial shock wore-off we began to
make better use of the User-Exits and APIs. Unfortunately for you, we
created most of the form-overlays in-house to comply with proprietary forms.
I know that COM allows a choice of 'flavors' for invoice forms, but none of
them really worked well for us. Shipping papers (Packing Slips and Freight
Bills of Lading) were also on our list of forms to be overhauled.
Hopefully, sometime soon there may be the choice of shipping papers that
conform to the Shipping Industry requirements, but I'm not holding my
breath.

If you would like additional info on how we approached these issues, please
feel free to contact me either directly or though the newsgroup.

Tom Ashworth
