Patrick,

I too have a copy of the COM Book and agree that it is an excellent
overview.  Please note that the book was co-authored by Dean Porzel;  last
year I was able to attend the MAPICS Business Academy's class titled 'COM -
Managing the Database' and the instructor was... Mr. Porzel of the Oakdene
Group.  He may be able to be reached through the MAPICS Business Academy
-or- at the Oakden Group (tel. 630-368-1046 x312 / dean.prozel@oakdene.com).
