We have used a product known as Robot to do this.

We also schedule all our other regular MAPICS jobs as well.

                Subject: Auto-scheduling mapics backup

Currently, I have to manually schedule the backup each day.
I am thinking
about setting up this job in the as/400 job scheduler to run
automatically
each day. Has anyone done this already? If so, what exactly
did you do to
accomplish this? What problems arose? What things did you
have to consider?

                Thanks
                Chris
