John,

What size system are you running with that many browser users?

Yes

I have an issue with the whole client server technology of MAPICS in that
there is little support material out there for managing the environment.
>From set-up to recommendations for remote lines. We have about 10 remote
sites running over 64/128K frame relay connections CIR of 16-48K.

We are stilling having performance issues and the browser falling over.

We have pretty well dealt with all the obvious network performance type
issues but are cannot find any recommendations or guidelines on what is
known work.

We are running well over 100 people on the Browser on R5 of MAPICS.

We have approached MAPICS to find out what ports are used on the AS400 for
the applications and they haven't yet been able to provide this information
in the mean time we have identified these ourselves.

          Lance,

It is active, but the volume is low. There are flurries of
posts followed by
intervals of silence. You came in during one of the latter.
We need a
trouble-raiser to keep things stirred up - any volunteers?
