Re: MAPICS Browser

We have Browser installed.  Need PC literate people or time to train.  If the
user has never had exposure to query or excel it can be a longer learning curve.
Our people are using Browser very well.  We also have the PDM+ and PM
applications.  Again, the   users are thrilled with the time they are saving.
Our mobile people are exporting into excel and are able to do analysis while on
the plane.    Initially I found security maintenance of Browser painful, but I
guess I have adjusted.  Security uses the base application as well as Browser.
It's a good product.

We are about to install MAPICS XA 5 and have seen a product called MAPICS
Browser. It looks like something that may give us some of the functionality
that we have on our previous system. Does anyone have any experience with
this program and your thoughts?
