One way is to create an offline program to feed files: POMAST and POITEM
(if you use blanket orders then you need to use file POBLKT too).
Mapics does not have an offline process for Purchasing like in 'Customer
order' or 'Inventory Management'

To jump from Mapics I to XA R5, first you  migrate data to the AS/400 like a
temporary library (AMWRKLIB),  Install Mapics DB Mod4,  Run load data from
Cross Application Support,  Install XA R5 and use the migration tool Mod 4
to XA R5.
I made this process about one month ago, from Mapics II to XA R4 and it
takes approx 2 1/2 days (including backups).
