Thanks to Brian Christensen and Ed Kandel for pointing me to the solution to
my problem - the MUI reset cleared it right up.  Now I can point to a
specific case where this shiny new mailing list produced results, too -
excellent!

I guess "never" was a bit too sweeping of a comment - we had users
complaining that their Help keys weren't working on certain screens until I
got it reset.  What I should have said was that we don't do any
customization of MUI.  Turning it off is a good thought, though.
