if you are using repositories and no manual installation then it is very
easy to find out if there is some 5250 software:

apt-cache search 5250

Frankly I'd be thrilled to do just that. The software I have been
able to install in that fashion was indeed very nearly as easy as for
the Mac.

The problem is I can't find a package for Navigator, or another 5250
client. Do you know of one?
