Haven't used rkhunter, I assume it's better or on par with tripwire?

Since Fedora 5 (maybe) they keep shipping SeLinux and I just can't stand that software. I keep disabling it on every install. So I'll have to look at rkhunter...

IMO, clamav works great as a mail server anti-virus ... but I was never able to get the active scanning working (Clamuko).

Of course most 'viruses' are distributed via mail these days ... Linux is, however, susceptible to rootkit intrusions. For that I use rkhunter, lock down my systems, and keep an eye on my systems.
