Good morning,
we used for more than 7 years tn5250 (version 0.16.5-1), with Italian
keyboard, on an old RedHat7.3 without any problems.
Now we moved to CentOS5.5 and with its default tn5250 installation
(version 0.17.3-6) we are not able anymore to send F>12 (I mean keys
from F13 to F23).
We tried with calling
loadkeys -d
before tn5250
or with
tn5250 +underscores env.TERM=IBM-3477-FC hostname
but it still doesn't work.
We've already looked at the us map file and read the tn5250-HOWTO.pdf
(we didn't create our own map yet).
It's odd that with a minor release change (from 0.16 to 0.17) tn5250
behaves so differently and probably we are missing something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
