AFAIK there isn't a 'move' command in cvs, so the only option I see is to delete and re-add the files in their new places. But doing so will make it impossible to compare files changes before and after the move (other than doing a manual diff). Any suggestions?

I believe that's all you can do with CVS, unless you start moving files around in the repository. We can't do this directly on Sourceforge, which is good since it removes the temptation.

(I can't wait for Sourceforge to implement Subversion, which does a better job of handling moves and renames.)

As I mentioned, my plan is to start committing these changes this weekend. If no one has any complaints then I'll just delete and re-add the files.

Unfortunately, I don't have time to look at the changes right now, but I don't have any objections to you going ahead with the changes.
