Thanks, Scott, I haven't checked for a new version in a while; maybe I missed an announcement, but I should have looked anyway.

Nonetheless, I do get the same reaction with 0.5.1 (and I have to go fix my keyboard mapping again.)

Sorry to hear that you're in Windows ;)

Hi Sean,

Have you tried the latest version of x5250? It's 0.5.1, I think:

I'm in Windows at the moment, but if I get a chance, I'll reboot and try it out.

Has anyone else tried to use the V5R3 IBM ftp client from x5250? We just upgraded, and I find that ftp no longer works. (I guess I could use FTPAPI to get my file, but I figured interactive would be easier for one off transfers. Or I should make my WGET work with FTP too...)

My joblog shows:

OK, I've been using x5250 for so long, I forgot I had other options! FTP works just fine from xt5250.

tn5250 0.17.3
x5250 version: 0.5.0
